Axis is an open source framework for building Web services.

Taverna

Taverna is a workflow management tool from the UK e-Science program.

Condor

Condor is a scheduler for distributed applications. We are investigating its use to simplify job submission to several different clusters and supercomputers (such as is available through the TeraGrid) that are running conventional schedulers such as PBS.
